Infusion Edutainment Teacher Lynn-Thompson

I have worked with families and individuals of all ages for over 38+ years as a teacher, facilitator, instructor, advocate, counselor, and entertainer. I lived and taught English in Vietnam from 2013 to 2018. Since returning to Canada, I have taught English online to children, teens, and adults of all skills from basic English courses, IELTS preparation, conversational English, and English for businesses such as Heineken, tour companies, and government officials. I am now proud to be a part of Infusion Edutainment’s ESL Teaching Team.

Infusion Edutainment Teacher Kit Cross

Kit is an experienced teacher with interests in everything from space travel to astronomy to photography and science fiction.  She has traveled the world for years and has a particular interest in Asia and South America.  Kit has worked on almost every continent, including Antarctica!  She is excited to be part of this project–taking the technology of VR into the classroom and making our world a more connected, friendlier planet by bringing students and cultures together in a fun learning experience.

Infusion Edutainment Teacher Matthew Stanoev

 I have been teaching ESL for 6 years now. After teaching in Xi’an, China in 2009, I came back to my native Toronto to earn a BA in Cultural Studies from York University. Shortly after, I went to Seoul, Korea where I spent 3 amazing years. In 2019, I moved to Victoria and am currently pursuing a Masters in TESOL from Trinity Western University. I enjoy traveling, photography, hiking, video games, movies, and role-playing games. I am looking forward to use VR as a tool to help me teach students all over the globe!

Infusion Edutainment Teacher Hanna Kim

I recently graduated from the University of Victoria with a degree in English, and I am starting a Masters in Public Administration at UVic. I have around 5 years of ESL teaching experience. My previous students were anywhere between five and eighteen years old. I taught English speaking, grammar, listening, and reading, and I always tried my best to alter my teaching style to meet the needs of different student groups. I am very excited to be part of the VR Education and to teach various students from around the world using innovative VR technology.

Infusion Edutainment Teacher Terri Gower

Terri has a Bachelor of Arts and a diploma in Applied Linguistics from the University of Victoria. She first gained a passion for teaching working as an English teacher in South Korea. After that, she returned to Victoria to complete her diploma. While doing that she got a job at the English Language Centre at Uvic where she worked with students from around the world. Besides these positions, she has also volunteered as an assistant teacher at the intercultural association and at the greater Victoria public library. She’s looking forward to being your teacher!

Infusion Edutainment Teacher Milad Salehi

I started teaching English in 2008 after I got my MA in Translation Studies. I have taught at several language schools, colleges, and universities and I am currently one of the English teachers at the English Language Center, University of Victoria.  I’m a big movie buff, and a TV show binge watcher. I am also a fanatic football fan and yes I don’t call it soccer because it’s football! If I am left with more free time, I read a short story or a good absurd play.

Infusion Edutainment Teacher Marika Cooper

I’ve been an English language teacher for 15+ years and I have taught students between the ages of 3 to 70 years old in many different types of English programs. I have lived and taught English in Taiwan, Australia, and different parts of Canada. I currently live in my hometown Victoria, BC Canada. In my free time, I like to go hiking, go to the gym, spend time outdoors, and travel to new places. Meeting people from other countries is one of my favorite parts of traveling

Infusion Edutainment Teacher Niall Maclachlan

I completed a BA in English Literature and the Cambridge/RSA Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults (CELTA) before moving to Thailand, where I lived for 12 years. While in Thailand I trained students for the IELTS exam, taught at Thailand’s premier science high school for gifted and talented children, and received an MA in Media Communications. I returned to Canada to teach at the University of Calgary and the University of Victoria. I have over 20 years of experience teaching English at all levels, and I look forward to seeing you in our virtual classroom!

Infusion Edutainment Teacher Glen Lefurey

I am a BC professionally certified teacher who has taught language arts and ESL as well as elementary and Key Stage 2 and 3 from the UK curriculum. I have extensive experience with the Cambridge International Exams curriculum used in over 4000 schools worldwide. I have taught and lived in four countries and I love to teach. My objective is to help students reach their goals. I look forward to the new future that is facing all of us in these interesting times. I know that traditional education is going to change in the coming months, and I embrace it with excitement and enthusiasm.

Infusion Edutainment Teacher Rosalie Duquette

She graduated from Uvic in 2019 with a double major in Applied Linguistics and Hispanic Studies She is passionate about languages and helping students reach their goals. She has previously completed her practicum at The English Language Center at UVic and recently returned to Canada after spending 7 months teaching in Mexico. Having been a second language learner herself, she strives to make her classes interactive and useful. In her free time, Rosalie is passionate about traveling to try new foods and working out.

Infusion Edutainment Teacher Sharon Lee

Sharon is a Toronto-born educator with English and Education degrees from Queen’s University (in Kingston, Canada). She has taught English to diverse groups of students in various countries, including Canada, Guatemala, China, and South Korea. Sharon is passionate about helping students improve their English language skills; she has worked with students, from Kindergarten to Grade 12, to meet learning goals related to reading, writing, and speaking. Over the past nine years, Sharon has worked as a teacher, co-teacher, tutor, and principal. In her spare time, she enjoys connecting with nature and writing poetry
